Introduction to Astrology

Who is it for?
This inspiring introduction to astrology is for students with little or no experience in astrology, as all participants are encouraged to read charts in the class under supervision to develop practical skills.

Paul brings astrology to life with his insightful and entertaining delivery. You’ll become familiar with the signs, the planets and how charts are a simplified map of the heavens the moment you were born. Up to three chart wheels per student will be included in the course fee so that you can examine your own chart and the charts of those close to you.

Course content
This introductory course offers a simple step by step guide to the signs and the planets. We will use actual charts and students can have up to three chart wheels made up to use for practice readings. This course offers and insight into life through astrology and it covers:-

• the 12 signs of the zodiac and the spiritual lesson for each sign
• the strengths of each sign
• the negative aspects of each sign
• the planets and how their placement in a chart affects us
• using an ephemeris to determine planetary positions
• a guide to your life’s purpose through the Moon’s Nodes position in your chart
• relationship (synastry) charts and how to read them
• solar charts, which are useful when you don’t have the client’s time of birth

Course notes
Course notes are included in the form of the book Astrology Revealed, which is included in the course price. This allows each student to focus on the reading process instead of taking notes continuously. If you already have a copy of Astrology Revealed, the price can be deducted from the course fees.

Certification
A certificate is granted to those who successfully complete written and practical exams. Exams are optional. We recommend that you complete 50 chart readings before sitting for exams to avoid disappointment. The first exam sitting is included in the course fee. Exams are by appointment only and can be completed at your leisure.

Course location
All Sydney courses are held in Lane Cove and interstate courses are held at different locations. Please write or phone for details.

Course times
Sydney courses are held on three consecutive Sundays, from 10:00 am until 5:30 pm. Morning and afternoon tea is supplied and there is a generous lunch break with many local cafés and take away food suppliers close by.

Repeat offer
When you have completed a course at the Academy you can repeat that course within two years for only A$130. incl GST, subject to available space. This ensures that students have every opportunity to master their chosen subjects at their own pace. (The repeat fee is subject to change without notice).
