Introduction to Meditation

This course is designed for those with minimal meditation experience and is suitable for students who feel that they cannot meditate. Those who fidget during attempts at meditation will also benefit from some of the practical techniques offered in this course.

Five different meditation techniques are offered so that students can select a suitable meditation to pursue throughout their lives. Guided mediation in a group atmosphere often helps students to experience deep meditations for the first time in their lives.

This course is suitable for those who want to use meditation to clear a path in life for the pursuit of their purpose. It is also perfect for those who want to reduce daily stress or to improve their intuition.

Course content
This one day course offers a variety of meditation techniques to enable students to become familiar with the meditation process. It includes guided meditations and then practice sessions to build confidence in the process. This course also includes:-

• a simple step by step meditation process.
• techniques to still your mind before meditation.
• learning which meditation techniques best suit you.
• determining the best possible place to meditate in your home.
• demonstrations of the sorts of things which might interrupt you mid-meditation.
• a meditation technique for clearing any past emotional and spiritual blocks.
• a technique to meet your higher self in meditation.

All Sydney courses are held in Lane Cove and interstate courses are held at different locations. Please write or phone for details.

Course times
Sydney courses are held on Sundays, from 10:00 am until 5:30 pm. Morning and afternoon tea is supplied and there is a generous lunch break with many local cafés and take away food suppliers close by.

Repeat offer
When you have completed a one-day course at the Academy you can repeat that course within two years for only A$65. incl GST, subject to available space.
